Does anyone know what the percentage in tax is on " GIFTING " a property in Spain?

I would advise you to speak to one of the lawyers on this forum, Maria seems to be a very helpful person, but, as far I am aware the law still deals with gifting in the same way as a sale and you would have to pay the 7% plus notary and registry costs. As the second party would be reciving a gift I would pressume that they would be happy to cover these costs considering what they are receiving.
Kindest regards

I know for a fact that it is a lot more than 7%, this is the main reason why so many people sell instead of gifting, it is a much more expensive process. The sale is an easy process and cheaper.
