We are thinking of selling our apartment in Riviera and was wondering if the Spanish Estate Agents work on a no sale no fee basis or whether we will have to pay money up front?

Most will work on a no sale no fee scenario.
You will pay anything between 2% and 18% commission.
The odd one work on 250€ up front and co comms to pay on completion.
always ask the commission rate before you sign.

I know very few agents that ask for a fee up front, normally you will just be charged a % of the sale once sold. There is a website called www.malagapisos.net where you can advertise your property for free, it is a good site and you get loads of enquries.
