The Green Olive - Sabinillas
The Comments |
Tried this restaurant Monday night and was delighted with it. Food is very well presented and cooked to perfection, nice choices on the menu and the service is good. Not cheap by Spanish standards but you pay for what you get and it is well worth a visit. Situated right on the sea front, just along from the Miel, you have a restful view of the beach and sea while you eat.

We went to the Green Olive twice on a recent visit. It is superb - fantastic quality food and very friendly. We had the chicken, beef and scallop/prawn kebabs which were excellent. They also serve fresh veg which was very welcome. Would highly recommend.

We remember this restaurant- terrific. Also very taken with Duquesa- we stayed at Las Brisas just up the Hill and had great views of the sea from the verandas. What a fabulous area. Really like the marina, some good little restaurants, wish we could have bought around there.

Seeing as Orda's (original poster) location is Manilva Heights it'll be Costa del Sol. (Did a Google)

Sorry, it is Costa del Sol- I was presumiing everyone knew where this was. Sabinillas is east of Sotogrande and Puerto de la Duquesa but before Estepona. There's another nice place. We've bought in Murcia but I do really like this part of Costa del Sol- hopefully we can still visit occasionally. Has anyone else visited Medina Sidonia on the way to Seville, we had a great couple of nights there in a sweet boutique Hotel?

absolutely agree that this is a restaurant well worth a visit.
We went there twice in 2 weeks. Very amiable owners and great food.
I has only been open since November 2006 but already has a steady following. They are closed Sunday evenings and all day tuesday.
None of us like olives but we actually gave theirs a try. Laced with garlic which made them edible. Never thought I would say that!!
