Daytime home needed for fantastically friendly Weimaraner dog
The Comments |
Hello,
My husband and I will be moving back into our Spanish apartment in December and although it is large with a terrace, it is not ideal for our dog while we are both at work.
We would like to do better for him by paying the right person to look after him during working hours. The Weimaraner breed is uniquely social and does not take well to being kenneled or left alone for long periods.
Are you at home most of the day or leaving your own dog in a secure outside space?
Would your dog like a friend called Otto?
Otto is fantastically friendly non-aggressive in any situation, very playful, affectionate three year old castrated male.
Otto does not necessarily need human company throughout the day if left with another dog in a secure reasonably sized outside area with access to fresh water and shade.
Estepona, Casares, Manilva, Sotogrande areas, we are in Casares Costa from December 09.
We hope to find a nice day home for Otto and would be grateful for any help and advice.

hula, do hope you find someone.
I would offer if I lived in your area because it is all true what you say about Weimaraners. We lost our 11 year old buddy last November and of all the breeds we had had over the years none came close to his socialbility. Even the Spanish admired and wanted to stroke him and they are usually very wary of big dogs.
Hated kennels or being shut but would sit outside alone quite happily all day long.
Best of luck.
