Does anyone know how easy it is to change the ownership of a spanish property to just one of the partners? I am purchasing a property in joint names with my partner, however, the only reason for doing this jointly is due to the inability to obtain a mortgage in my own right. (This is due to spanish banks considering our joint uk mortgage as 100% mine even though it is shared 50/50).
Our plan in a few years is to change this property to my name and for me to obtain a mortgage (if required), however, I would like to understand if this is complicated and what financial implications, if any there are....
