Of Geese and Golden Eggs
The Comments |
I wonder if the greed of some businesses will kill the goose that lays the golden eggs (the customer). I hardly used my Vodaphone mobile phone this week but somehow the 10€ top needs topping up again.
I haven’t yet read Round Town News ‘breakthrough’ in price-cutting that I gather will hole Telefonica below the waterline. Surely if some services were to cut their advertising, pass the savings on to their customers; then word of mouth would bring even more new customers. Duhhhhhhhhhhh From here on my mobile is emergency or receiving. Sod them!

I think most services have already cut back on advertising anyway, but I know what you mean.
I have an obsession with lights around the house. My kids seem to think it's perfecly fine to light up every empty room of the house. Stuff like this costs us money and just makes the utility companies richer.
At the end of the day the best way to cut back is just to be careful how you use things.....such as phones!
