Setting up Business in Spain
The Comments |
Hi All
I am soon to be setting up a new business in Spain to be based in the Murcia area.
Being new to the country, other than the odd holiday any views and tips would be really appreciated.
Initially I will need to hook up with qualified electricians to train as authorised fitters for our product along the south and east coast, so any ideas on where to find them would really help but any advice in general would be really helpful.
Look forward to hearing from you

Hi - I'm afraid neither of you can use the PM facility until you have 10 posts.
You can discuss stuff on the open forum as long as it is not blatant advertising, so you could have lots of your general questions answered.
One of the hardest things about being self-employed here is that you need to pay Social Security of around 250€ per month regardless of whether you are making a profit or not. There is a very recent blog on setting up a business here - links at the top right of the page.
Good luck!

Hi and thanks for the pointers.
Ive aready sent a request for advertising details and will follow up once I have them.
I should be there first week March and from what 've seen of the site so far I think the content will be a great help in pointing me in the right directions.
