residents certificate for 94 year old
The Comments |
My father who has recently been in hospital needs a residents certificate etc so he can sign on for the Spanish health service, however, he is bedridden, can I do it on his behalf? Also I believe he will need passport photos for the application....

Dear Jayce:
You can do it on his behalf with his written authorisation.
Best,
Maria

Thanks Maria, Do you mean a letter written by him in English with a Spanish translation, or is it best for him to write it in Spanish. Or do you mean a Power of Attorny....not easy for him.
Thank you Jayce

A letter in Spanish authorising you, with ID number should suffice. Do not forget to bring your ID card.
Best,
Maria
