Flight Delays

It is quite possible for flight delays to Spain at Easter, Spanish Air Traffic control possibly going on strike. 

Its also worth checking out car hire before you book your flights for Easter - last year the car hire was very expensive for Easter, was looking for this Easter too, but again too expensive.

I work as an atco in Madrid. The numbers are false. First, they belong to 2008. 2009 numbers are much lower. Second, they are before taxes, Third, they belong to just one worker who did more than 100% overtime. USCA (the controllers' Union) has announced repeatedly no intention to strike in the foreseeable future.
That was before the Royal Decree, which increases working hours by almost 50%. It also makes controllers aged 52-62 willing to retire have to stay a further 3 years.
Basically, Spain needs 4000 controllers, and 2300 have to do their work.
By the way, we are also responsible for having taken the money we were offered by Aena. And we have also requested, via USCA, that the workforce be increased.
The Government has done none of the such because they have obscure interests in the privatization process."
