Regarding the sunglasses 'advice' read this from SNOPES who are a very well known hoax site, very well respected. See what's said about sunglasses, they HAVE to be POLARIZED! Non-polarised sunglasses will increase the hazzard & NEVER wear sunglasses (polarized) at night in this situation. The practice is dangerous.
