My experience of Endesa is pretty grim also, since 2007 we have been billed for our neighbours electricity usage and as they are full time residents and we are holiday owners it makes it hard to swallow. In the last month I have managed to get
tHis sorted so we are getting the flight bill but hopes of getting my money back for the overpayments are fading fast. If anyone has any good ideas they would be most welcome.

 Hi, 

I'd be grateful for any help or advice with a problem with the Endesa bills to my apartment. Basically I think that I am being charged for my neighbour's electricity usage who are full time residents and have an apartment directly above us. We are holiday owners and use our apartment approx 9 weeks a year (school holidays etc). Outside the apartment there is a cupboard with 2 electrcity meters and simple though it seems my bills are from the meter serving the upstairs apartment, the charges in Dec were 92 euros when our apartment is totally closed down fridge/freezer off etc. 

I have tried to resolve this myself, spoilt many holidays, got on my wife's nerves about it all with no suscess. Looking on the internet there seems to be some firms that specifically deal with electrcity problems in Spain, can anyone recommed one or if not has anyone got any ideas of where I could go next.

Hi, 

Does anyone know the best way to contact Endesa or if there is an office near Mojacar/Garrucha/Vera etc. I have a problem with my electricity bills in that I am fairly sure that I am paying for another apartments usage as the meter numbers are mixed up on the bills. As I am a holiday owner and the other apartment are full time residents, my monthly bills are far more than they should be for standing charges and small amounts of electricity to keep the fridge & freezer running. 

I have logged onto the Endesa Online service and tried to get an engineer out to check the meter but it's absolutely hopeless. Whats even worse is that you cannot call Endesa from England as their new system does not access international calls.

Any advice would be a lifesaver, my last resort is to cancel the contract which will bring the matter to a head.

Can anyone help, I am wanting to purchase a car to use when we are in Spain, usual story roundabout ideal and don't want to spend a fortune. It's just to use to avoid incresaing car rental costs. Serious buyer anything considered.

Dear All,

We have just returned from a break in Mojacar Costa Almeria and can witness first hand that there are loads of Guardia Civil Officers stopping cars for a number of reasons. These range from driving in flip flops to not having hi vis jackets and warning triangles in hire cars. Apparentally drivers are being fined on the spot. On the local Mojacar radio station Spectrum FM they reported that Garrucha (next town to Mojacar) was a training centre for the Guardia hence the concentration in the area. Also reported was a dramatic increase in breathalysing drivers especially the morning after.

Our hire car did not have any hi vis or warning triangle, does anyone have any info on whose responsibility this is to provide ?.
