You could try MediaMarkt or El Corte Inglés, they both offer delivery and installation options, similar to Curry's in the UK. You can order online, and they'll sort it for you.

Sous vide is great for consistent results. Joule is top-notch but pricey. Anova is a solid choice for a lower price and good quality.

That’s exciting! I’d suggest checking out MediaMarkt or El Corte Inglés for white goods, they’ve got delivery options and even installation. Feels pretty similar to ordering from Curry's in the UK.

Wow, that sounds pretty intense! I can see why you'd be rattled, especially with the Lorca anniversary in the mix. Earthquakes always feel so random, and it’s one thing to read about them, but quite another when you’re feeling the ground move beneath you. It’s good that people were able to connect and talk about it right away, though. Makes you feel a bit less alone when everyone’s on the same page.

Murcia is definitely cheaper overall than the UK, but some things like taxis can catch you off guard. That €79 taxi fare sounds pretty steep for a 30-minute ride, might be worth checking out local buses or even renting a car if you want to move around more freely. Food-wise, you'll save a lot by hitting up the supermarkets, but eating out every day will definitely add up. As long as you plan a bit, you should be good.
