Cost in Murcia

Can someone help me with the cost of Murcia. I'd be visiting the area well my partner is training,but upon looking for things like taxi prices to get to the town which appears to be approximately 30mins away it would cost 79euro which seems a lot compared to the cost of a similar trip in the uk, 

I was told that Murcia is cheaper then the uk for living cost but this would appear not I don't want to come under prepared for the cost 

is the cost much more in Murcia the the uk what is the cost I'd be visiting for a month an would be 2 of us. Without the cost of accommodation as this is already paid, the cost would be taxi food both from a supermarket and occasionally eating out

Murcia is definitely cheaper overall than the UK, but some things like taxis can catch you off guard. That €79 taxi fare sounds pretty steep for a 30-minute ride, might be worth checking out local buses or even renting a car if you want to move around more freely. Food-wise, you'll save a lot by hitting up the supermarkets, but eating out every day will definitely add up. As long as you plan a bit, you should be good.

If the nearest facilities are in a town 30 mins away, you must be staying in the middle of nowhere ! If so suggest you rethink the location.

I live in the Murcian campo but there are small supermarkets and bars/restaurants everywhere in the vicinity plus main shops like Carrefour and Mercadona offer a delivery service.
