Feedback on my balcony solar kit
The Comments |
Hi guys, after asking in the forum last month and doing some research about the solar panel company Robinsun, I got a bifacial solar kit on my balcony. Although weather wasn't all good last month, I still got a €20 reduction on my power bills which is quite satisfying for me.
Given the extreme weathers recently, I think it would be nice to produce my own energy. Storing them with batteries is better but it's still expensive for me now. I will keep track of my production and see if batteries are necessary for me.
They are doing Black Friday promotion now. Check on their website if you are interested.

Hey, can you share a little bit more information about how they work and specially related to how long did it takes to pay for the kit. There is so much information about this matter and I have been around many forums, that I have become exceptical about solar kits. I still want one for my house in the south of spain due to the long hours of sunshine but I better ask people with experience than just purchasing the first option I see.
Appreciate if you could help me!

So glad you decided to go solar! In theory, bifacial panels can produce 20-30% more energy if you position them correctly and use a reflective surface behind them. But if it’s not set up properly, it’s probably not worth it. I personally have some Aiko mono-glass panels that work great without any fancy setup—just installed them at a 20° angle. With Black Friday discounts coming up, I’m planning to grab a couple more panels—still got space in my garden, haha!
