Hi gang,
very simple really, I want to start a food business and ideally was going to buy a couple of refridgerated vans in the UK to use in Spain, buy have been told this is illegal, even if the business is registered as Spanish, where do you even start with that.
So am wanting to know any good Spanish websites for second hand vans, or any good - wont pull your pants down - garages that sell vans in the Andalucia area (or even Alicante way).

OK, thanks for the reply, I did not know that,
that seems very restrictive, but where do you start with that arguement in Spain.
The main reason (which I will post in a seperate thread), that I wanted to use a UK registered van is because vans in Spain are so expensive, but I will ask where good places/websites are to buy good value vans in another thread.

Hi gang,
not sure if this has been asked before.
But I am thinking of starting a food business off in my part of Spain, I currently have moved back to the UK, but wanto to know if I used UK registered vans for deliveries for my business in Spain, and the business still be registered as a UK business, would I get grief off the Spanish police using a UK vehicle for business?
Any thoughts much appreciated.

Sorry, I have not been clear enough, I do not have a mortgage on my property,
I am wanting to release equity on it, that is the problem,
I wish I did have a mortgage on it, but I bought it cash.

Hi there.
I have a cortijo, that I am wanting to release funds on, but it appears no Spanish bank will do a re-mortgage these days.
So I am thinking of 'selling' my property to my mate who is my business partner in the UK.
He would get a mortgage in his name, purchase it, and then I would use the funds.
I am just wanting to know how much tax he the 'buyer' would pay, and if I formed a limited company prior to all this, could I get a postponement of CGT for upto 5 years as I've heard?
