Not sure what forum in Algorfa you mean, but I do know that one of them has had problems with a person trying to use different names since they have been banned from it. It could be that.

I am sure if you explain who you are you would be very welcome to join again.

Hello Crostrad,

The answer is yes. If you don't top up with a small amount every six months ( I think) then they do suspend your phone. We found out as it happened to a friend of ours. The minimum top up is only 5 euros at our local shop so we tend to do this regularly.

Hello Sue,

I will be in Algorfa in September as well. Are you going to be staying somewhere as you look for rentals as if you let me know where you will be I can give you a rough idea if it is in the village.

As you are probably aware the village has a number of urbanisations and some of them are quite a distance. There is a guy who post on here as Georgia and he is an estate agent that lives in Algorfa....he is very often heard singing its praises ( mostly because every event organised by the town hall involves free beer!)

The town hall has a website I think it is AlgorfaSpain this has features on the urbanisations.

Hello Wannabee walker

If you have a look on the algorfa & san miguel website there are some routes for ambles/walks. If you are local to these places I feel sure that if you set a date there would be people to join you!
