Hi there,
I heard recently that one of the apartments in block 7 was having a problem. Don't know how bad, or anything. It's going to be a worry until we next go out and see our place in May. Are you asking because you have a problem or, like me, have you just heard something?

Hi Chris,
My property managers reported the problem to me. I have the dampness in my apartment.
It was closed up all winter since last September, so i am not surprised thee is some dampness.
But this seams to be on the internal walls and can be just in the middle of the wall.

Hi Olivia,
in 2010 (Easter, I think) we went out after our place had been shut up all winter and could see what might have been the beginnings of mould or something damp-related on an internal wall. Went to the Proindal office to "bring it to their attention" and they sent someone round to paint it with something, not sure what it was as the guy's English was as bad as my Spanish but it seemed to do the trick as we haven't see any evidence of it since then.
But thanks for letting us know. I'll get on to my property manager and ask her to check ours out.

Hello,
We too have water spots coming out of the paint in our entire apartment. We have just been notified of the problem and we are looking into the solution. If you get any information please send me an email and I will do the same.

Hi,
We too have had damp problems in the bedroom around the ceiling area and also on the stairway up to the top terrace.
We have painted the areas with anti mould paint and will have to wait until we have had the colder winter period to see if it returns.
We have also sealed the top terrace around the outer edge, again to hope it prevents the damp coming back.
Has anyone managed to get Proindal to address the damp problem?

Hi all,
just got back after an amazingly great 11 days in Almerimar. Checked my place even though the key holder had said that she had done it already. Found something coming through on an inside wall, but actually don't think it's anything to do with dampness and certainly no mould at all!
It's more like some chemical coming out either of the paint or from the plaster. It is similar to what I had before on a different wall and which has been ok since it was repainted 2 years ago, as per my earlier post.
Hope everything is ok for all of you.
Chris
