MEETING UP IN MARBELLA - 28 March 2007

Just an idea about where we could meet up in Marbella next week.

When we were over at Christmas, Smiley, suggested that we tried Garum a Contemporary restaurant located on the Promenade just off the centre of Marbella. Excellent location, good atmosphere and fine for eating or just for a drink. I was thinking late afternoon or early evening may be a good time for everyone?

8ish  on the 27th would be fine for me or perhaps we could make it another day when everyones available. What do you think, Rixxy, Justin, Juan?

Have had great entertainment since the start  of Eye on Spain - especially with the chit chat boards - and its nice that life is not taken too seriously all the time. 

Its is also great that the trials, tribulations, sucesses and discoveries of living in a foreign country are so freely shared so that others can learn or perhaps chuckle when a 'done that, been there' feeling creeps up on you.

l would really like to come along and put some faces to names - so once the date, time and place is decided upon and broadcast l will get out the glad rags!

Thats us in the majority then! OK where to go easy to find as well...... What about Elviria? thres Perla Blanca on the beach or  Cabopino although perhaps getting a bit further away for you Justin.

Marbella entrance coming from Malaga, there is a lovely beach bar and reasonable prices by the car showrooms - I could draw (haha female!!) a map??

EEEEK Miket - my cover has been blown! I dont have late nights - just dont bother going to bed and straight to work the next morning, otherwise the drink does knock me out 

So we are getting nearer. 4pm (thats the one in the afternoon) on wednesday 28th at ???? - this is excrutiating!

Cabopino sounds good. Theres the Irish bar in the Square or Alberts in the harbour. Garum in Marbella or even one of the Tapas bars beachside!  ...............................

OK wednesday 28th 4pm Irish Bar Cabopinoproviding its in sunshine. If not I will be in whatever bar has the afternoon sun (or on the beach)! anyone without my mobile pm me for it in case you get lost!!!
