This is quite complex Maria.

Perhaps this is why some people feel so frustrated and upset with the property situation in Spain when through no fault of their own their "earned success" has been stolen from them....because earned success provided them with an opportunity to genuinely share their success (their sunshine property) with dearest family and friends.

It isn't necessarily the monetary value associated with that property, but for some the opportunity to share the results acquired from their long working lives with those dearest to them, that has been shattered.

The effects resulting from manipulative corruption and greed from others intent on stripping innocent people of their earned success in the manner that many have been subjected to in Spain, is understandably shocking. Some would suggest this as being morally reprehensible.
Especially when for many their intentions to share their happiness with others was honourable and ironically not motivated by greed or profit ....

I would ask have those whose actions stripped innocents of their earned success in such a callous manner resulted in a happier existence?
Perhaps it has in a purely selfish form, but what a sad existence to live devoid of conscience or care for your fellow man, to think of those abused as "commodities" and not real people, and in that process fail to recognise the stark realities that have resulted from such behaviour, or for that matter from a flawed system that perpetuates corruption and fails to recognise moral authority.

Just a few thoughts to contemplate!

Thanks for sharing this and allowing an opportunity to perhaps perceive this from a different perspective.

Kindest regards.

IN regards for campaigning, lobbying regarding the Bank Guarantee abuse, my suggestion is that you, citizens, promoted the petition that Keith started once. We will support you but, I do not see very clear that me as a professional who is also getting clients and fees out of the disaster should be actively involved on this.

We have, in the past communicated this to General Council of Lawyers, as part of the professional duties as lawyers for the care of ethics in the profession but.... honestly, I do not see we can do more apart from this and the corresponding study, writtings... that we have been offering for people ( clients and non clients) along the years.

We will be very please to support and advise anyhow, as we did with the Keith Rule petition, but that, again, needs to be a citizenship endevaour.

Best wishes

María
