This will be the procedure that citizens may use to present the complaints, initiatives or suggestions they deem appropriate regarding the functioning of the administrative units of the Ministry.
Under no circumstances will complaints be considered administrative appeals nor will their submission interrupt the deadlines established under prevailing legislation.
Submission of a complaint does not in any way condition exercising the rest of the actions or rights that, pursuant to the regulations of each procedure, may be exercised by those participating as interested parties.
Who can present them?
All citizens who consider it appropriate may express their dissatisfaction with the services provided, as well as their initiatives or suggestions for improving the services for which the Ministry of Justice is responsible.

Response deadline
Upon receipt of the complaints or suggestions by the corresponding department, it will, within a period of twenty days and after requesting the appropriate explanations, inform the citizen of the actions carried out and the relevant measures taken.
If after the indicated deadline has elapsed no response has been received, the interested party may inquire at the General Inspection Service of the Department (Plaza de Jacinto Benavente 3, 28071 Madrid) in order to ascertain the reasons for said lack of response.
