newly single at 40ish and living it up? on the Costa

 well you all get a few days off as the christmas season approaches, i have not been out for a while but i have managed to be totally unorganised in the party front  and i have one tomorrow, one friday and yep one saturday , oh i am feeling my age cause even the thought has me running for the hills but its only once a year i tell myself and i may actually enjoy them

well i promised one of my team i would mention her on my blog as tomorrow she turns 21 and bless her we have had the lastime she will drink a cup of tea age  20, the lastime she will go on the till age 20, i think you get the picture but i hope she has a nice day , it got me thinking of my 21 soooo many years ago, actually not alot to mention, was drunk by midday and pretty much cannot remember much after that lol, oh i have grown up now 

 this cat that has moved in with me , everyday for about an hour goes barmy, she dashes around the flat and occasionally she wraps her teeth and claws around my ankles , much to my pain , she seems to be staying longer and longer, take today i left for work and left her asleep on the top of the sofa, when i get home many.many hours later she is in the same place, i am only jealous i suppose as a day on the sofa would be nice , as it is very busy at work at the moment, anyone would think its christmas 

 Actually i had forgotten how tedious putting a tree up was, it was not helped by the fact i have a tiny hangover from the few drinks i had last night, it does not take me long to get typsy and thankfully over the years the hangovers have not been too bad either but tree decorating and a little delicate do not go well together, wait a minute, just going to put harry potter film on, that will do it on a sunday afternoon, im back, that took longer than expected, 1st had togo to car for diet car, i keep it there so i am less tempted to have it at home, as you can see that does not work , when down to car, forgot keys, buggar , got back, after 3 bloody dvd players later the film is now on , just as well  i have 3 , 1 is mine , well 2 are mine but 1 is really old and funny enough thats the one it worked on, the new one is a recordable one and the other came with flat and there all samsungs don't figure and i have been joined by moggy on sofa who is now settling down for the afternoon as well, I am quite pleased with the out come of the tree, though i need some more baubles (finally found out how to spell it but i still like ball, balls even though incorrect) and the pink does go better than i thought and the ambience lights on the tree seem enough, so will get more and maybe tinsel as well and than it will be ready and i may take a photo to keep

 I  got up today and thought , on my home i pop into the chino and have a little look , just in case , actually popped to saverland at lunch and they had tons of trees but none felt right and it was than that i realised that i knew i would just need to keep looking and wait for one to feel right, so on the way home i swung into chino, never been in this one before, it was laid out really badly, the shop was huge but wrong anyway i was walking round and than i saw it , on the window shelf , it is 120 so not too big but big enough for me and wait for it , its purple, yep went for it after all, so it totally clashes with the pink decorations i have but i do not know why i did not realise it before but it is so me , so totally wrong but so me and icing on the cake is , new life means me doing things i like and i like pink - check, i like purple - check and also the green ball balls from la canada will be perfect now , so i am now officially in the christmas mood, though probably will not put tree up until sunday as working tomorrow and also wait for it ,,,,, going out tomorrow , only to watch x factor final and a chinese with a couple of mates but my horoscope said love will come knocking at my door this weekend so i told them could they arrange for a handsome single man to knock on there door, not asking for much i think and if the stars say it , well it must be true, oh well i can wish

 I have not really touched the subject of horoscopes, this area really interests me, i like reading my horoscope daily , though i realise that if you post a prediction , than the law of averages means that some taureans will come true , I also now. do not believe in coincidences, everything is for a reason even the tiny things like dropping things on the floor over and over, alot of the time i am unsure what the reason is but its something, Anyway i do think whatever star sign you are has an influence on your life but that said i also think where you are placed in the family also matters, like if your a only child or middle child, middle children always feel unloved and have chips on there shoulder or younger child which is me , we dont have so much pressure on us to succeed as all above us had that pressure and older children always feel sorry for them selves alot as they should always know better, these are only my observations and appreciate not everybody will agree or fit in to the categories(bloody spell check not working) but thats how i feel, now taureans, obviously best zodiac sign, though not many others get on with us, in fact we do not get on with us. In life you go through phases where you attract and surround yuourself with a few signs , at the moment i am surrounded by geminis, my workplace is run my the gemis as we call them and in fact i think geminis could be one of the most populated signs but also i have alot leo influences at the moment and leos are proving to be abit of a handful too , and strangely wherever i have worked there has only ever been one other taurean but at the moment there is 4 of us and we get on sort of. My closest friends are pisces and leo and they are both very different, My ex husband was pisces , so off pisean men for now.

UPDATE ; no tree 

 Yep i awoke to a stuffed up nose and sore throat and throbbing head, it is upon me the dreaded cold, I should of had my flu jab on FriDAY but after dashing at top speed to doctors , i knew i would be faced with alot of noisy pensioners all been there for 2 hours even though there appointment was for 3pm they get there so early and than complain when they do not go in first, well thats what appointments are for , bless , i  just wish i could understand all what they are saying aS I AM SURE it is even more funny than i get in my ltd understanding of spanish but no , it was desserted and of course i had forgot my paper to show i had an appointment , instead i tried to say influenza in spanish accent and point my finger at my arm to look like i was injecting a needle, quite impressed with myself for that i was able to communicate but no he did not understand and he asked for my medical card , once shown, it confirmed i had an appointment , he had a heated exchange with colleague , she had heated exchange with me , sort of (actually i did not understand her but she sounded fierce) and upshot no jab and thats when i knew i would soon get a cold as we all know bloody doc surgeries are the worse for picking up infections, Now i think i am a pretty good patient , not liking much sympathy , a little spoiling or pampering would be nice but feeling sorry for myself, oh yea , i can dig that alot. But thankfully cold not reached the feeling sorry for myself stage yet but  i know its coming, i was able to get the heating working at last, remote batteries needed changing, so at least cosy but what the hel will the electric bill, no, stop thinking about that , im warm . Do i take any drugs to counter the cold, i try not to, rather let in run its course as they just seem to prolong it but i have been known to take frenadol or day nurse but not a fan of lemsip or beechams .

I saw on tv and reading on facebook that it is snowing in uk and for first time since living in spain i actually felt jealous which was weird as i hated the bloody snow when i lived there, i always fell over and scraping the car was absolute hel but hey it looks so nice and so i hope i see it now when i go in feb as i do not have to go to work and so can enjoy looking at it from a cosy warmhouse ,

 Very quick post today as i have in my possesion a new kindle fire, which is the reason for lowly bank balance but it was black Friday sale on amazon and so would of been rude not to of, I have the basic kindle which i sold to my dad so he gave give to mum for christmas so shhhh its a surprise for my mum and even cooler all my books have gone to my new kindle , only problem i can see as they both in my name , my mum will soon find out my liking for romantic(saucy really, i am single ) books , though i could delete the ones i would rather she not see and save on laptop, yep thats a plan, I THOUGHT it may have taken me ages to set or worse send an sos to little friend to help me but nope, i did all myself all registered, all wi fied and now ready for action,

JUST in case you were concerned i had moved on from treegate, wrong again, still tree less but i have a kindle fire and oh oh oh , just remembered i forgot advent yesterday and so double whammy today , 

Saw a post for jolly sailor on facebook and maybe tempted to go , if i can drag myself from my new kindle fire, might ponder that one.

 What a funny title for 20,15 in the evening but i just remembered the conversation 3 men were having on the bus home and walking through the border, now i must start by saying i do not make the habit of listening into other peoples conversation but one had a South African accent and so you sort of could not help but listen as you do not hear that accent often, anyway i pretty well gathered they all worked together and seemed pretty friendly but did they gossip or even as much to say bitch  but the bit that made me laugh and i even nearly joined in  was that, no one in there office says good morning to any one and even worse do not even bother acknowledging each other , So the south african announced he felt smacking the next one in the mouth when he says good morning and no one answers which had me nearly choke with laughter and i so wanted to say, i would say good morning to you and also thought to myself must make sure i always answer any good morning as you never know if someone will smack you in the mouth if you ignore them,

Very busy at work and the advent calenders have been reduced to £1 to match morrisons, so bugger i may have to have 2 advent calendars now, not so smug now am i , no update on tree but census at work is , GO PURPLE but than when i express my pink theme some muttering under there breath was the whole tree will clash , Ah well bank balance is telling me , get the bloody cheapest tree  and move on from treegate.

The bloody cat was in very very weird mood tonight, since adopting her i have not been able to coax her into drinking water out of a bowl, no, she has a fancy to drinking the water out of the 2 toilets or the bath or shower, very very weird but tonight after having my shower she /he (still not sure , but she/he is answering to the name missy so i hope she is a she) sat in the bath even though it was wet, i thought cats did not like water but i am still enjoying having her around and she is very playful as the scratches on my arm prove it.

 Hip hip hip hooray the sun has got its hat on and im sitting on my balcony for the first time in weeks hooray, after a pretty hectic and erratic few days , its nice to just sit, drink (vodka diet coke, VERYnice) , chocie advent calander , yep reduced £1 at morrisons and so now i am proud owner of cadbury characters, but only brought one nearly brought 3 as could not decide on this one, thortons, malteser oh and mars but plumped for this one as it looked more christmasy, so eaten 2 days together result.Took parents home , after we have loaded up cupboard with pickles, sauces, sweets, last night i announced we would only buy 2 small boxes of sweets ,1 roses and 1 celebrations , but standing in front of tins this morning my dad persuaded me that they were 2 tins for £12 bargain , i relented and we have 2 tins , well actually he just looked and i said ok ok ok it is a bargain and he never actually said anything but i hold him responsible and now i have the tins in my spare bedroom and no doubt i will be dipping into them over the next 3 weeks and will have to keep buying little boxes to top them up , NO HELEN  be strong and try and wait to christmas, Well morrisons was murder this morning as you would expect at this time of year but i got the turkey crown, yep i made a decision, we got everything except, beef, gammon , pate, cream, veg, fruit( tangerines to justify chocolate intake), actually looking at list still have a bit to get and the TREE but swaying towards a real one now as never had a real one, all depends how much they are really and i still cannot quite get the purple tree out of my head but all the pink decies i have will clash big time .

I thought i would ask for a little help into treegate as i am now calling it, SHALL I go for REAL tree, PRURPLE tree or a normal fake green tree or the one i quite liked a green tree with WHITE tips on end to look like snow but just looks like white on ends and maybe go for the most popular choice,

 Well i am pleased to announce i am possesion of my pink and silver ball, baals, abit of a colour change as green did not seem to go with any tree i looked at , however no tree purchased as still undecided , so much bloody choice , I  am pleased also to say i made my purchases from a massive chino in Estepona thus did not partake in kfc or posh balls but i think i will get the green ones wheni go there next , so the theme is now pink, silver and green , I quite liked one tree had a like snow effect onit but my inner wacky side really wants me to buy the totally inapproiate purple trees i am seeing, just so it clashes incredibily with the theme and out the window goes the posh feel i was aiming at but do feel the purple tree is so wrong that is must be so me, so have decided to have a few sleeps and buy one on next day off on Wednesday.

ALSO feeling fairly smug with oneself as have not succumb to buying a advent calendar of which i open daily until Dec 4th or 5th and than forget and than open all on 23rd Dec , feel guilty and not eat 24th Dec normally a little bigger until i am packing all decs away in Jan and than celebrate that i have a choccie even though i have already started post diet . So this year i am giving it a miss unless when i go to morrisons tomorrow and they are reduced to a £1 THAT SMUGNESS may go out the window for a bargain which i will justify with the fact i am getting into the christmas spirit.

Oh i do , do the belen as well, though i am not a religious person actually more into spirituality if thats a word but i do like the story of christmas and ,llllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll'[-;ppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppw.56t5, sorry cat just walked across laptop,  right where was i, oh yea belen, so i always like a small belen, actually its a new one since last year , i left the one i had before behind as Joseph head had been missing for quite a few years and i could not find one the same size to match the 3 kings and mary, but baby jesus always makes me chuckle as he is nearly as big as the others and i also had a few ducks, why? not sure and they were nearly  the same size as the 3 kings , 

But i did buy 2 poinsettas, well my dad brought it, he did not realise he did but he did, as it is wrong to buy your own poinsetta you have to have them gifted to you for them to last to January, so i am told, you read right 2 , one red and one yellow, how weird yellow never seen a yellow one before both very nice and sitting in front of me and making the room look festive while it waits for me to get my arse into gear and decide the tree.
