Nice wheels officer!!
Thursday, October 30, 2008

So the police in Girona get a Smart car while the Italian police get this Lamborghini!

Police unveil a Lamborghini car donated to the Italian state police, in Rome, October 24.

Well okay but after the 200mph cross country car chase over cobbled streets and dirt tracks, where do you put the prisoners to transport them back to the Nick?

Wow, 64 formulas and more....
Tuesday, October 21, 2008

Good old computer genius Stepson back over in the UK just emailed me and said he "LOVES" the new Microsoft Excel 2007 because it lets him nest 64 formulas instead of 7 and has a merged if/is error. Does it? Oh good!!  And there was me thinking the only good thing about it was that it allows more than 65,536 lines per sheet at last because I hate using Access.

Nuts to that!!

Here's the ideal Xmas present for you ex husband. As far as I know it's for real and guides you through testicle pizza, testicle pie, etc. I am not making that up. Have a look, because this strikes me as the most efficient possible cuisine if you’re cooking for two.

Internet Explorer 8 & Google Chrome.
Wednesday, October 1, 2008

These two new browsers are great.  IE8 is full of gadgets, bells & whistles etc and is so bulky it's unbelievable and as it is only a beta at the moment it's a bit buggy too. On the other hand Googles new browser "Chrome" is cut down, simple and fast but it will take you some getting used to. Also only in beta release at the moment and does not yet work on all websites.... Give it a try.

How many Barcelonas?
Wednesday, October 1, 2008

Part of our Son's homework last weekend was to find out how many Barcelona's there are in the world.  Like the smart-ass I am I was straight to Google Earth and did a search for "Barcelona" and there it is, just the one.  Oh no said her indoors, Google is no good for that sort of thing, "You need the Weather Channel".  So off she trots and low and behold, there's one in Venezuela as well making two.  Off goes the ankle biter to school on Monday all proud of himself only to come home later with a red cross on his book and been told the answer is FIVE!!  Right.... Now I am on a mission.......
