Another Life Leaf Fallen
Another day; we’re on our way,
We’re filled with hope and cheer,
Though some have failed to get this far,
We greet another year;
Two thousand years and thirteen more,
The sands of time spilled on the floor,
Let’s take the hope road, heads held high;
Two thousand twelve we bid goodbye.
One for all and all for one,
We’re happy spirits, free,
And I will be much better for,
I know you’re still with me;
Two thousand years and thirteen too;
That I will pray to spend with you,
So take my arm and breathe in deep;
The clock hands to the midnight creep.
Come the sunrise, come the dawn,
But this time sweet New Year,
When all who mean so much to me,
Are still embraced and dear;
Two thousand twelve once passed this way
We kiss goodbye its final day;
I doff my cap for what may be;
My heart beats still; I’m free, I’m free.
