Evocation
In you I find the spirit of two souls that are as one,
Though far apart we share both bliss and strife;
Then I am faith and true, I will share your thoughts with you;
For in this world and next you are my wife.
If pathos is your guide and should always be your bride,
Then never on your own shall ever be;
For the weight you daily bear is a cross I gladly share,
If you will only give your heart to me.
The heart that can’t divide is a love that crosses wide,
The travails and the miles beyond the sight;
It is then that pathos rules and two spirits are as one,
When candles two make but one glowing light.
For beauty such as yours is a rare and wondrous thing,
No longer just for you but mine through love;
Appeal enslaves my spirit and the heart that beats in rhyme
Is beauty so unique it rules thereof.
If erotic are my thoughts then erotic you shall be,
I care not for to think or reason why;
It is meant to always be that I set your love heart free,
When my tongue that speaks is heard by only thee.
