EOS not alerting me when I start a new thread

hi guys  ive just returned to sunny spain after having a couple of depressing weeks in the uk, although the weather was fairly fine the mood of just about everyone was really low, all i would like to say is if you are thinking of moving over here but are put off by all of the negative reports about spain, dont believe everything you read in the papers or see on these so called homes from hell tv programes, ( funny that,  one minute they are trying to sale you a place in the sun and then they spend the next month telling you how awful it is, i wonder why !!  perhaps the chancellor doesnt want you to spend your hard earned pensions and cash outside of the uk ) yes the credit crunch is hitting everyone but on a bright side it is also a very good time to purchase over here, plus why be depressed in gloomy old england when you could be less depressed and less skint in sunny spain.   Chingo

I for one am looking forward to our move to Spain.  Myself and my wife are extremely pleased that we have purchased in such a great location like Finca Parcs.  Following a recent visit we are pleased with the progress on site and cant wait until our handover in October this year.  Life in the UK is starting to become very frustrating indeed.  Our food bill has increased along with our Mortgage, and thats not to mention the price of diesel!!!!  The credit crunch seems to be hitting ourselves and our friends extremely hard and the more I tell them about our new villa the more they seem to be thinking about the prospect of moving themselves.

Roll on handover date when we can start our new lives in Spain.  We look forward to meeting our neighbours and making new friends.

Hiya Guys, couldnt agree more, good on ya Mark, this place is sooooooo depressing even had some politician chap on the tv this morning saying exactly the same.  Lucky you chingo it sounds as if you are already living the good life over there hopefully the rest of us wont be too far behind you, as you say may a well be skint in the sun !!   last one to leave turn the lights off please, need to do our bit for the planet as well.  Taz

Good god you lot really do sound depressed, we do have problems here to and my pension needs to be a strechy as a piece of knicker elastic but we get by far better here than in the uk, prices are rising every where but I am still convinced we have a better standard of living here. Plenty of fresh food good wine and sunshine, we are just enjoying the day in the hot sunshine by our pool and plan to have a barbie later.   Hope I have not made you any more depressed
