Malaga Airport

Hi everyone. We're buying a rosana in phase 3 and weve been waiting years and years, since the first time the plans were announced. It was originally going to be all villas on 1000 sq m plots so we thought it would be a smart, spacious development. That has changed somewhat  and the plans look like shanty town in the sun in parts, but we're still hanging on in there. I seem to think that I was told at some point that we would not get any choice of tiles etc as they couldn't cope with letting us choose. Having seen the photos of the show house - (thanks very much to whoever posted them) I'm very concerned to know whether or not we do get any choice in the matter. I personally would not go for the dark brown patterned floor tiles or the dark kitchen units - I'd much rather have something lighter. Can anyone tell me what the situation is? I've never known a new development where no-one can choose their  tiles etc, and surely they can't be doing all 600+ houses the same ?Please, someone, tell me  we get a choice in the matter!

Hiya,  have you actually been to the site recently ?  it is far from being overcrowded with loads of open spaces, and the views from phase 3 are tremendous perhaps you need to go and have a look for yourself. From what ive heard there are over 200 houses less than originally planned, so this must make it a smaller shanty town now, anyway whats wrong with shanty towns, I live in one already called the UK.    Taz

Iaini having bought years and years ago you could always cash in and move to the coast if that's your thing - Shanty town indeed!!

I was there three weeks ago and can't wait for my luxury Esther 'mud hut' to be finished!!!

Hi laine, it looks as if you may have caused a lot of offence here !  The Esther is a fantastic property albeit on a smaller plot, however that does not mean that is less desirable than any of the other models, in fact I think you will find it is actually slightly larger than the Rosana model, and with all of the extras included as standard makes this far from being a Shanty Town Property.   With reference to choices, no, not all the models will be finished with the same tiles and kitchen units, the finish has been influenced by the design of the properties, ie traditional country villas, the quality of tiles, kitchen units, windows and sanitary ware is of a very good standard and far superior to many other costal projects. If you are situated on phase three as stated the views are fantastic,  the existing plan is far more eco friendly than the original submitted plan which had a mass of houses situated in front of phase three., this now is all green area with wild herbs and shrubs ect. If you have not already taken a look at the project maybe you should take the time to visit the site and see what a truly amazing area the project is set in, we are sure that you wont be disappointed.     Finca Valley Team

Terribly sorry everyone.didn't mean to offend anyone. I guess from what you say  that  the impression we have got from the maps and  photos of the development being crowded and linear must be wrong. Admittedly we haven't seen the site since the houses started going up so we're prepared to be pleasantly surprised.
