We've had very good service from them until now but, whilst waiting for an item to be exchanged, we' received the following message from the UK parent company on 24th June :
 

Dear Valued Customer

 

 

It is with regret to inform you that our Spanish Office is currently closed due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control. Normal business operations will resume on Thursday 26th June 2008.

 

 

Inside Right Espana SL is committed to customer satisfaction and whilst you may be concerned over your installation and completion of your order we can confirm that your order is being dealt with as a matter of urgency and we will endeavour to complete these as agreed.

 

We have added extra staff to improve the communication to you during this time and each and every customer will be contacted individually with an update of your installation or outstanding requirements over the next 7 days.

We have had a very trying time with them  over the past five months. I could bore you all with the catalogue of mistakes and chasing up we have had to do. We are still missing a few things from our original order despite numerous calls, visits, texts etc and are always being told 'yes it's on the next shipment'. The sales manager was very helpful but she left at the end of May and since then we have heard nothnhg. I have come across a number of others in a similar situation with IRE. Let's hope that they do start trading again this week and finally honour their customer serivce pledge and get all of the goods to everyone.

We used DFS in San Javier and would go back to them again.

Everyone including the delivery team, very helpful, friendly & most of all competent.

I too have had a bad time with them. The Sales Manager did mange to sort things eventually but I am still waiting for a couple of issues to be sorted.
Had no idea about the Spain office closing or the Sales Manager moving on until 30 seconds ago!

Depends what you are aiming to buy.   Friends of ours recommended Muebles Direct in Loas Alcazares and we bought our storage beds in January and our terrace furniture last Thursday from them, and each time received next day delivery, and they arrived at the designated times.   They also do dining and lounge furniture.   If you need further info contact Fred or Beverley on the following:

I have also heard poor observations on IRE so did not go that route.

A friend who now works there tells me the reason they shut up shop for a week was because the place was almost empty due to bad weather in the far 
east affecting deliveries and also a break in.
Thery're now back to normal and have just recieved huge amounts of stock as well as having security cameras fitted.
I didn't have a problem with them and they also recommended a good property manager to me.

Please be very careful if considering this company - we are still waiting for furniture and crockery items outstanding from our fitting in April.  We are also waiting for them to replace a fridge freezer as it was not the one we ordered plus we also have an electrical item that's faulty and we have been unable to use.  We ring them every week and they promise to ring back but they don't, they don't respond to emails and if you do manage to get through to someone they pass you around between sales representatives claiming they don't know what the current position is regarding our order.  It's been a really long battle every step of the way and we are heartily disappointed with the way their customer service level plummets to zero once they have your money in their bank.

I couldn't agree with you more Polly. We ordered a 'furniture package' in January & paid for this in full in April.  They were great at the pre-order stage but after that they were terrible. They don't seem to have any stock control & it has been a complete shambols.

We had loads of items missing & several wrong items delivered & we have over 26 pages of mails now where we have been fighting to get the last pieces of our order & it has dragged on & on. 

In complete frustration I emailed the owner of the Company in the end , because nopbody would reply to my emails, or if they eventually did, we were fed  complete nonsense. A new guy has now been appointed to replace the old Manageress. He promised everything would be there for our last visit, which it wasn't, as expected! At no time has he attenpted to apologise for what has been a complete fiasco.

We have now been told that the last of our items will now be ready for us when we next visit at the end of this month, but we have been fed so many lies to date, that I will believe it when i see it!! All in all, it has been  completely stressful experience and I wouldn't contemplate using them again.

I do sympathise with those that have had furniture pack problems.  We had a strange `problem` with Villapac in that they delivered too much !!   The order is all completed now but we have 4 lovely dining chairs that are surplus to our needs.  Dark wood with buscuit colour seats for a good price. We are on H. Riquelme and will be there 27-29 September so ideal for anyone who can pick-up during those dates.

I'm with Mozz. We had great service from DFS in San Javier. If we need anything else it will be our first port of call. Great staff, helpfull and efficient.

We used Murcia Furniture, just up the road from El Val, very pleased few minor things that were sorted on the day. Would recommend.

Hi all, i know of a company who will be calling themselves   unitedgolfpropertymanagement and are new to the balsicas area.
Another service they will be providing is collecting, delivering and installing all your furniture from IKEA.
I used these guys a few months ago as they were recommended by a friend who had used them over christmas.
They fitted the complete villa out from curtains to units assembled and i saved a fair bit compared to most furniture
pack company's.
If your looking to furnish your place i would consider these guys.
Send me a PM if you reqiure either of their services and i'll pass them on to you.
My friend who recommended them tells me their website won't be ready for another couple of weeks.
