Hi everyone,
Just got back from Tesco, what a nightmare and I was comparing it to Eroski. I was wondering if it was worth starting a new thread called good news only, like the one on the main site.
It seems a shame (I am guilty of this) that anyone waiting to complete reads negative comments from the exsisting owners and I thought perhaps it would be nice for them to read about the good things about Sierra Golf.
If you you think it's a silly idea please ignore this thread and then it will disappear.

Hello Davina,what a sensible idea. Having spent the last for months on SG we couldnt agree more, The supermarkets and foodshops in general in Balsicas and what is little more than twenty minutes drive from the site offers a wonderfull selection of goods more often surpasing that available in the UK! the people are nearly always smiling polite and helpfull !! despite language difficulties and the sun and lifestyle is great, which is what we all bought into. We have met and made friends with so many people SG we feel part of a large family how many towns could you say that of back home where people rarely talk unless they have known you for years. So there has been the odd frustration along the way on SG but its still early days development wise and think what many residents have achevied in the past 10 months with gardens taking shape and some spectacular floral displays by some resident gnomes!! Our thanks to you all for making our last stay auch fun and we look forward to seeing you all again in October and to all of you potential purchasers Masa didnt pay me to write this is comes from the heart and a thread from Davina. This is my second post on Sierra Golf, and the first one returned some bad feed back of the Urb, my Brother lives in san cayetano, and this, Sierra Golf, would be a good close but not too close investment for me, the prices are about right, resale or off plan for 2010, I'm still hard working in sunny England, but this thread after my 1st set of feed back gave me hope that the Urb had a good side to it and was comming together, they will always be problems, my brother is on a site thats finished nearly and the things that some people complain about are not a problem to others.
I want feed back on the positives, areas, why are so many of the rook tops not used on the builds, do people change this when the move in, I only have limited funds so I'm looking at the Milenium Quads, I think they are Green terrest units 2 bed units.
The Golf loks new but great, I'm only at the moment a Golf range basher, but one day I will go for the 9 holes,
The photos show a Big Urb, but the posts show a freindly Urb, that has a lot of residents not just Holiday homes, my plan is to live here in 3 4 years.
So please fill up the good things if they are there, my brother is going to have a look for me end of the month as he is on holiday south of France at present, poor lad all that Driving.

Hi Good News Only - at the moment there is a big division on the site, those who have good news, which is great for you all and it looks fantastic out there, but there is also a group of very unhappy people, who bought their houses years ago, even bought them in a completed state and still have no access to them after years of waiting.
Whilst it is great for you lucky ones to celebrate with GOOD News, spare a thought for those, who have
NO NEWS about their properties,
NO Communication for over a year
NO GOOD NEWS to report.
Here is looking to the time when we on M11 will have good news to shout from our sun terraces.

Any news is worth posting be it good or bad especially for those of us not yet completed, any snippit of help or info is always greatly recieved, so please continue with both as one day eventually we will ALL be neighbours and friends.

Hi all
Just to remind everyone - there is good news -
Byro and family signing
Tararaliesure - spellings wrong but you all know what I mean - also signing
Sky TV is missing - but there are other good options
Spanish weather still better than UK [although it's been lovely today and we played some golf]
The driving range is open
The golf couse will be open soon
There are lots of great people livin at SG who care about one another
Mags and Loz M14-44 [I'll keep takin the tablets]

Hi all
On the subject of good news we found out from the internet that the old military air base in Los Alcazares is to be converted into a theme park including an aquarium, music conservatory and museum.
This should do the area a lot of good.

Hi Everyone,
Myself and my husband have been living on Sierra Golf since the 10th of June and have met alot of very nice people, be they resident or holiday makers.We are very happy here and hope that the site remains as friendly and as welcoming in the future.
