At the AGM on Friday 22 August there was a witchhunt by the Spanish and they wanted blood!  It was apparent they had formed a gang of 8 whose intention was to disrupt the meeting and get rid of me as president.  During my presentation I was heckled booed and shouted down and it was apparent they did not want an English president or committee.

This gave me no alternative but not to put myself forward as president even with all your support and proxy votes.

The new president is Spanish and does not speak any English and the vice president is Swedish but she speaks some English and Spanish.  All the commitee voted on are Spanish.

The new president and committee have no agenda or plans in place and are continuing to use the current administrator and gardening/cleaning company.  

The email for the vice president is maria@casauna.com .  All future correspondence regarding community issues should be directed to Maria.

Would like to say thanks for all the improvements over the last 12months. We were unable to be at the meeting, and unable to vote, as apparently we owe money .we have money in our Spanish account, but for some reason it's not always taken out! ( and some months they take out two or three lots to make up for it!)

We've been out recently and were really impressed by how much was achieved. Thanks for everything, let's see how the next 12 months go....!

Absolutely nothing was done by the old president. I MEAN NOTHING. The cleaners didn't clean, the gardener didnt know about plants, people didn't pay community fees and nothing was done. The urbanisation was going down!

Now we have new cleaners that are doing their job. We have also a gardener that is actually working for a change. And the president, that is a lawyer is chasing the people that are not paying the community. Things start looking good for a change.

To me, instead of talking rubbish about Spaniards, people should give them a chance because unlike the old president people are actually doing their job! The new community representatives is working very hard, and most of them live here the whole year. How Mike was going to know about what was going on here if he wasn't here in the first place? He doesn't speak the language or nothing. And to all of you that speak about Spanish people that bad, I don't know what you are doing here if you don't like the people! The beauty about this country is the sun, the environment, the people, the food... And by not being open minded and getting to know Spanish you are missing a lot.

anyway, lets work together in this for the sake of the community. If the urbanisation looks good, it will be better for everybody's investment.
