Delay in releasing Block 9 - Plus New Build Opposite Block 9!

Hi everyone,

Sorry to be the bearer of  bad news, but earlier this week I rang Proindal to ask what the building work directly opposite our apartment was going to be and was informed its a 10 storey apartment block which will take 3 to 4 years to complete.

Added to this I thought I should check on the completion date of our apartment which was April 2007, to be told it would be the end of 2007 or early 2008.  It goes without saying we are bitterly disappointed.  Not only are we waiting a further 12 months but now I cant imagine anyone wanting to rent our property when there is a huge building site opposite for 3 to 4 years.

This just isn´t going to plan.

I have also purchased through MRI (block 9)with the original completion date of June 2006,I have e mailed various people within MRI including the salesperson and invariably do not receive replies regarding completion.If as you state that completion was April 2007 now extends to 2008 this is more than appaling.(Dead money)Just clarify this building work please.Does your apartment face outside the complex not inside.
