Insurance

We have just had out insurance renewal  for our ground floor apartment on CDS and as we have no comparisons we asked some friends on CDS what their premiums were.
It was interesting to find out that some only covered their contents and not buildings as they are under the impression that builings are covered within their community fees.
Could anyone clarify this as we obviously don't want to paying a higher premium than nececessary.

I contacted our vice president regarding building and contents insurance and after she contacted Ammex I was told that we should be insuring our apartment for both buildings and contents as Ammex do not cover the buidlings.
