Hi, I am also buying in ME23
If you contact internet agents you are probably best off going for those that have already sold in the Medina complex as they will know a lot about it. Also you can go to local agents in Atarfe and Granada so you get exposure to the locals instead of international investors buying through websites. This means making phone calls, speaking Spanish or going there and doing it in person
From what i am reading on the internet it sounds like Spain's housing market is in worse shape than any country in Europe and if this is true I don't see the situation improving for a number of years in Spain, so probably re-sales at a decent price will be very difficult until this global recession has been and gone and property prices have bottomed out and started increasing again
