Hi all

When are you all coming over?  you are missing the best weather warm during the day and cool at night the perfect combination!
Things are fairly quiet here right now.  Not much happening on the sight the 2 men are still working on the paseo.  Pinky and Perky 2 are cruising the site looking for some thing to do!    All the residents are enjoying the benefits of living here and apart from all the fiscal problems that people worldwide are suffering life is good.
So come on in the waters lovely!
See you all soon.
June and Ron

Hi Ron & June

We are coming over this afternoon.  Weather forecast doesn't look too good for today or the coming week.  Hope I'm wrong!

Any sign of the bar/restaurant opening before Christmas?

If Pinky and Perky are looking for something to do they could start clearing up all the debris around old excavations to footpaths , deweeding the treepits etc

SG , especially the entrance doesn't look very welcoming for people looking to buy

We're back on 31st and if still the same I'm going over to the office to ask them to tidy up

Hi Steve & Rosa,
Good Idea to ask about Pinky & Perky tidying up. Somehow I think we'll be lucky if they do anything! The tree outside our place died and the trunk broke off. At least somebody tidied up and chucked it into our front garden!! Next time were over we are going to ask if they are going to replace all the dead trees. We de weeded our tree pit ourselves and I've noticied some people have done the same. We agree with you first impressions are important and we noticed on our last visit how the tree pits have started to look untidy. To a certain extent I think we will have to take keeping the place tidy on ourselves. In the freebie Costa Calida Magazine (October Issue) I read they have started to do this on Campasol because of the state the place was getting in. Next time were over we are going to weed some of the treepits in the empty Houses around us.
We shouldn't have to do this but somehow I don't think we will get much help from Masa.

Hi Rick, Carol and everyone,

I think taking matters into you own hands with regard to the weeding is a good Idea us and a couple of neighbours havce also put gravel in the pits to keep the weeds down which helps.  As for  the tidy ness it would help if all the furniture and white goods delivery men took their rubbish with them instead of bubble wrap blowing abut the site.  But if we all do a bit it will help!
To all of those of you due over soon  we look forward to seeing you then and for those who aren't try to come soon.

June and Ron

We have laid gravel in the tree pits out side our house and I did try and clean up the spilt gravel to the house on the corner before you get to the rubbish bin , but I didnt have a strong enough spade

We're having drinks on saturday 1st   November for anyone who wants to come
How about all on site getting together to give the island in front of dennis and Susans a tidy up say around 2.00ish as a starter and seeing if Masa are prepared to replace dead trees etc
We dont get in till late on Friday 31st so Saturday would be the earliest we could tidy up

That sounds like a good Idea (tidying the Island) but only if its dried out by then at the moment you would sink knee deep in the mud and there is more rain on th way!!

Hi All

Hi
We were hoping to be out this week, but postponed to have a longer break and are now coming out 20 December and staying over Christmas and the New Year.

Anyone having parties or get togethers spare a thought for us we would love to meet up with all fellow Sg's. And of course the barbe will be going again but earlier while it is warmer, however I bet it will still be warmer than here.
Weather is changing to Winter probably like normal be a wet windy cold one.

We have been waiting here with anticipation for the pool bar restauurant and golf course.

The state of the places there should be plants including the "green area" we paid extra for which still is a sand/weed fenced off desolate view and the sand blown. Never mind one day.
When we were out last in August noticed how some people (June and Denny for one) had planted small plants where there were no trees in the paving.
It does brighten the place as does all the lovely gardens when you walk round it is up to us as owners on SG to ensure it is nice because those who should take responsibilty have not yet doen for anything.
We love our piece of Spain that is why we are maximising how much we can use the house.
Cannot wait until 20th December.

Does anyone know of what will be going on locally eg: festivals fiestas etc as we would love to see some traditional christmas events.
Can't believe by the time we come out we would have had the house nearly a year.

Denis Tricia and Rebecca.
