As the title says, If you purchased your apartment mainly to rent out or use for a couple of weeks at a time maximum, would it be necessary to fit a washing machine?

I would say yes personally if only for freshening up the towels and teatowels. I just think it would be a plus on a rental site if I were renting one for myself.

Hi Ooch,
I personally have never used a washing machine while holidaying, but if it was my own apartment thats a different matter, I will certainly be using mine. If your renting I would say yes you do need it, as everyone is different (one mans poison) get the message. Don't think there is any need for a dishwasher, but that could be the next thread.

As a renter I wouldn't even consider an apartment if it doesn't have a washing machine. We would expect to take less clothes to an apartment and would usually wash and dry any clothes before going home, so there is much less to do when we get back to work and have less time.

It would also add more credibility to the 'Luxury Penthouse' description.......... tumble drier required as well to stop the towels drying all crusty like wot hotel towels are like (even 5* places)
