FRIDAY FROLIC RESULTS 28th NOV
This week a team game was played.
There were 3 teams of 3, each player had to nominate 3 holes of the 9 which they had to score on and if they did their score would be doubled, the team with the highest score won.
The winning team with a score of 46 was ERIC FINDLEY, BRIAN SPRING and RON MULLIGAN (splitting the prize money).
There was another prize for a Birdie (carried over from last week) and the winner was BRIAN SPRING (aka The Bandit)
Well done to all the winners
FRIDAY FROLIC RESULTS 5th DEC
This week eleven people turned up for the Friday Frolic including last week’s Bandit in a mask.
We went out in two teams of 4 balls and a 3 ball. There were five prizes up for grabs this week – best pair, best threesome and the two lowest scores.
The prize for the best pair went to Tony Brown and Phil (the new Bandit) Wild each getting 10 euros with a total score of 26.
The best threesome were Ron Mulligan, Alan (mind me head) Currell and Brian (no longer a Bandit) Spring. They split prize money of 15 euros.
Bringing up the rear were Barry Sherwin and Les Gathercole who each got 5 euros for the lowest S/ford points.
No one took the prize money for a Birdie.
Thanks to all for turning up and to the new Bandit for this week, Phil Wild “wear your mask with pride”.
Hope to see you all at next week’s Friday Frolic.

LATE NEWS
Last Friday, there was another break-in in an unoccupied property, owned by a Spanish family, The property did not have grilles fitted and entry was apparently gained through a window.
For those of you reading on Eye on Spain, whilst the recent spate of break-ins may seem worrying, this should not deter you from moving to Sierra Golf. Compared to problems experienced on other sites this pales into insignificance. If you take the necessary security measures, you should have no need to worry. At least two of the properties broken into did not have grilles fitted. The fact is that there are many places in the UK with worse problems and people fear to venture out at night. It is also possible they were “inside jobs” but can say no more than this.
CHARITY COLLECTORS
.
A reader has asked us to mention that people should be wary of any charity collectors. Although 99 percent will be genuine, it has been known for a spate of break-ins to follow their visits. It is advisable not to let them into your house.
