Recommendations.....

We wondered if anyone would like to post their favourite things to do in Sabbi and the surrounding area. Like, I have found a great restaurant which caters for people with Coeliac disease, which I suffer from. It's called Mar Y Mar, and is (obviously) mainly a fish restaurant. It can be pricey if you do what we did and order a fish dish for all 3 of you. It's only necessary to order 2, you get loads.  Best dish is the cod. Also, Miele,  also on the sea front offers great puddings and good coffee. For rainy days, the Duquesa Suites Hotel has a wonderful spa where they offer great treatments. You can spend hours there . 

Great idea, our favourite place to eat is Itzabar next to the Mercadonna supermarket in Sabinillas, great value, will come up with more places as we will be going out about once a month to Duquesa.

Behind the taxi ran in Sabbi is a little square.  In the square is a little Pizzeria.  It is owned by a middle aged Spanish couple who once owned a very succesful restaurant, but now have down scaled to the pizzeria.  They sell the best pizza's and my personal fav is the carbonara.  But their wine list is by far the best in the area.  It is a very basic restaurant but the quality of what you have once inside is a pandora's box.  It is a real regular with the local Spanish who order the take away pizza's and then have a glass of wine with the owner.  It is really worth a vist as it is good basic food, top quality wine at reasonable prices.
