Choose your removal company wisely

Hi I was informed by letter from Potezen & Dowen that they were completing on Blocks 6 & 7 on the 12th, 13th &14th.

However I still think that my English lawyer is waiting for some information from them.

Is anyone in these blocks definitely completing next week?

We completed on the 4th Oct and went out for 2 weeks from the 23 Oct.

It was a bit of a disaster at the start as even though we had arranged through our Spanish slawyer for the elect and water to be on well in advance we had a problem with the elect supply. They told us at the development that the elect company did not have the order even though they had a copy of it!!!! We went two nights without elect but it was not too bad as we went prepared with torches etc. Weather was warm so water was not too cold to wash etc. Yoy can survive without elect but not without water!!!!!

There were no lights in the block for stairs and garage so we had to pursue the administrators to get them on. I think that because there were only two people in our block they did not want to have them on. Rest of time was v good and spent half out life in shops but have made good progress.

Hi grandcanyon

We havent closed yet , they say now the 20th of nov , a death in family and delays on mortgage so hope to be out next week , how is the progress with the facilities ie the large pool etc.  We have to furnish in the same week as we have booked to spend christmas out there . Dont know wether that was a good idea or not !!

What was the weather like when you were out there , Havent been to almerimar since put the deposit down .

By the way can you recommend furniture shops , or any other information would be appriecated
