Directions from Almeria airport

Please could anybody give us directions from Almeria airport?

The exit at the airport is at the back of the car park where all the hire cars are parked. You turn left out of the car park & then bear round to the right folloowing the signs for E15/A7 towards Almeria & Murcia.

When you reach the motorway junction you take the E15/A7 towards Murcia. Stay on the motorway until exit 520 which is the turn off for Los Gallardos, Turre, Mojacar & Bedar.

At the roundabout take the 2nd exit towards Los Gallardos. Follow this road for 2km until you see the Campsa Petrol station on your left - you then turn right onto the A370 signposted Garrucha, towards Turre.

Follow this road for 13km, passing the Go ~Karting & signs for Garrucha port. This brings you to the Bouganvilla Roundabout where you take the 2nd exit then at the next 4 roundabouts you go straight ahead, following the signs for Villaricos.

At the 6th roundabout you take the 3rd exit. At the next roundabout take the 1st exit then turn left almost immediately. Take the next right turn & al Andalus Thalassa is now on your left.

Is the road at the back of the complex throught to Vera now open and would this not make it slightly quicker to get from the airport?

If you continue on the main motorway to the next exit (signposted Vera) it cuts about 10-15 mins from your journey depending on how fast you drive!! This road brings you out at the Valle de Este Golf Village where you turn right following the signs for Vera, continue on this road to turn right at the garage (car showroom think they sell Kia's) then continue to the Bull Ring RAB turning right onto the by-pass, five minutes later your home.......WELCOME!

The back road from Vera to Thalassa is still full of craters, (worthwhile considering giving it a miss if you're in a hire car), far better to continue along the by-pass to the junction just after Mercadona (signposted Puerto Rey), at least you are on fully made-up roads and less likely to lose your exhaust!!
