Hi Louise
The new bus route is a partial solution as it stops at the roundabout by AA Hills in both directions.
However, they do only run every hour or so & it is still a bit of a trek if it is hot & you are carrying heavy bags. I guess a taxi run one be one solution for a couple of days supplies, particularly as we all have fridges & freezers.
El Balconcito, The Wok & various other bars & restaurants are within 20 minutes walk so that also provides options.

There is now the bike hire, carrying capacity obviously still not as a car but is is flat (ish) and a nice ride to the s'market etc. By memeory the bikes for hire have baskets on the back as well.
Only took an hour to take a steady ride all the way down to the promenade at Garrucha, Stopped for a few refreshments on the way back as well................!!
Bike hire was available from hourly to monthly by memory, sorry can't remember prices - will obviously depend on how many bikes needed.

we bought bikes and have walked places
but if someone was going i still think they need a car as if i came with elderley relatives or you rented out they would be stuck
