Our Son and family have been in our apartment for the last fortnight and have been experiencing a problem with the air con unit in the main bedroom, it appears to be leaking out water even though they have not put it on the de-humidifier setting, so not being able to solve the problem they have not been using that unit. We are going out on the 12th August for a week so if anyone can give us the name of anyone who can come and take a look at it (hopefully whilst we are out there ) would be much appreciated.
Regards Jayne

We used Marcus last week for a service and found our installation was pretty good compared to others within the AA family of complexes!! He knows his stuff, is chatty and should be able to fit you in as he works quite late at the moment. I have sent the report he gave us to Key Mare as the plastic filter cover was broken (fitted with 2 of the 3 clips broken!!), some cable grips were missing and some bolts holding the outside unit onto the wall brackets were missing.

Just a word of warning, we had this problem with both the units in our apartment. The problem was that the outlet pipes were installed going upwards from the unit and then bent downwards in the channels, as a result the water could not be extracted uphill !!. To fix this, a large area of the living room wall had to be removed, the tubes repositioned, wall replastered and then redecorated. Same in the bedroom but the hole in the bedroom was not so big. Fortunately this fault was spotted early so Keymare did the work. Could be expensive if you are out of warranty.

I am using the old plum with ours that as the developer, Key Mare were responsible for quality control on their development and should have been keeping an eye on their contractors to ensure the standard of work was up to scratch. Things like incorrectly fitted internals of an air conditioning unit cannot be reasonably expected to be picked up during snagging.
Not sure how Gema will react to that though!

Same here, I Reported to gemma and this was fixed in only three weeks. I did say wet titles were a safety risk especially at night. Our unit dripped water even when the unit was off.

Unfortunately, Gema has read and ignored my emails 9no surprise there then!). I am trying to find a contact higher up, otherwise I will have to sign the complaints book and try to seek a repair that way.
