This is now getting beyond a joke if the pantomine does not resume shortly i am going to be forced to resubscribe to sky tv, the inactivity is not entertaining in any way.

I have been worrying about this too.  Where is everybody?  First of all we lost Julie Anne, then Twigit - it has been getting very boring on here!  Luckily we have had two lots of visitors to entertain us over the last couple of weeks......but they will be flying back to the UK later this week.  Come back everybody - all is forgiven!

I think everyones had enough for the moment sue. There is nothing to talk about. Just waiting for some good news for those that might get some money back, on their bank guarantees.

 There is a lot going on and there is considerable pressure mounting on the Spanish Government to start sorting out some of the abuse that has gone on for years. There is a new post at the foreign and commonwealth office with this are of concern in the portfolio

Interestingly enough many of the spanish banks have also published their figures to the markets. my banks profits have risen against expectation and the chairman issued a statement that he will need no capital injection from the spanish government.

I have taken the opportunity to let the foreign and commonwealth office, the bank of spain and the Spanish ambassador know that this is because they are acting illegally and not settling debts which they rightfully owe.

I have also written to the chairman of my bank personally to inform him of my actions.

Nice not to see any SARC bull on here for a few days. Maybe they are realising how they have been strung along all this time

Hi Joanie, well done you.  It really has gone quiet lately hasnt it.  I think everyone (with useful comments), just needed a little break and take a few deep breaths.  We still have the on going project in Fortuna to contemplate.  Mortgage offer has gone through today, now its head on, feet grounded thinking time... in Egypt for a little holiday!  We are going in the morning to take a good hard think about things and some time out.  Mart has worked a straight 40 days and needs to sleep!

The writing was on the wall for so long for a few and it is quite saddening that they now have to take stock of how badly they were abused by this Company.  Did SARC  even both to reply to the questions of what Thomas, or whoever without any power behind there statements, actually think/knows whats going to happen next.  Are the Rusian's still pouring in  with offers??

IF we go ahead we should have our keys by Easter, just a big decision to make whether to go for it or not.  Beautiful property, location, price good.. just a flippin mortgage which I shouldnt have had if they had any honor whatsoever.  They cant hide forever Joanie.

 had some further positive e-mails from spanish organisations and some spanish and ex-pat newspapers willing to do articles on our plight!

Keep up the good work everyone who is fighting against the abuse. I really do believe that the cracks are starting to show

The cracks have always been showing.

The abuse has always been there.

SJ/HDT  since May 2008 have always had little or NO money.

Their assets since May 2008  have always been worth little or nothing in this continually  depressing market.

What they have is not worth very much at the moment and is likely to take up to 5 years to sell.

Keep fighting against the abuse, sure, but the outcome will still be the same and we all know what that is likely to be.

Heart ache for most of us.

Being british we keep on fighting and so we should but my advise to all is, get a good lawyer or just get a lawyer, and get what you can and then RUN. Which is exactly what SJ/HDT have done. They knew the end was nigh and made arrangements accordingly, within the law as much as possible.

They looked after number one, which is all we can all do now.

When the dust settles, this will all be forgotton and they know that. So there is no point in any of us getting on our high horse.

If someone screws you do you wipe yourself down and let it go or do you wipe yourself down, make sure that you screw them back as much as humanly possible and try your damned best to make sure they can never screw anyone else over ever again.

What is going on may not effect our individual cases but there will be an increasing amount of pressure to ensure that things are more transparent and just (which may help us all)

See your point, but:

SJ/HDT will never screw anyone again because they are BOTH going into full liquidation sooner or later. I WILL laugh my socks off if the administrators allow them to continue trading [other than completing El Pinet] considering the relatively small amount of money that will take, when they have NO money or BACKERS,only unsaleable houses and land, It would be farcical and a joke and i really am begining to wonder now if the administrators have not got  some sort of agenda.

The next creditors meeting with the administrators is supposed to be scheduled for April, almost a year since the administrators were called in. A year to look at the property and land that is owned by SJ/HDT and then look at their bank accounts and decide whether or not they are in a position to continue. Someone is having a laugh and unfortunately the laugh is on US their clients, and other poor creditors.

I am trying to keep positive but my bank guarantee is beginging to look more and more like a piece of toilet paper, so what chance has anyone else got.

I think in 12 months time we could still be chewing the cud together about the situation and if so god help us because at the moment there seems to be no way out of this bloody nightmare.

What you can do is complain Bob

If that is all that is left, then complain to the overseeing body, then to the national body, the law society, and the equivalent of the ombudsman.

One thing is for sure, unless its on the persons desk that can do anything then there is no-one who will give a monkey's.

Work smarter not harder.................get into the very area that makes it possible to have the case looked at, judged and corrected.

My view is the administration is arrogant and taking the micky out of us, dont let them do it, and dont fall for the ...well its Spain its slower here, or lets not be disrespectful, or even worse, lets wait until they get some backers or we will lose everything.

Hey...wake up, we have lost everything...........its all gone.............it wont come back..........we have to get these people into a proper accountable arena and do what is within our powers...........get exactly what we can.

The more exposure, the more pressure on the system, on the government, and the more likely it is there could be an injection of funds, incentives to kickstart the building sector, tax holidays for these crooks.................intervention in licencing, lending.............all sorts of things, if pressure is applied properly.  It needs to be made prominent.

Do nothing and guess what you will get..exactly the same as SARC will get...............nothing

Did we ever find out from Tony /SARC what Tomas had to say or is it not worth sharing . Perhaps Tomas has joined the growing ranks of the unemployed .

How many people have joined SARC this week and when are we all getting our dream homes  ? HdT wont let us down it is just a matter of showing them some support through a minor difficulit period .

Do SARC now realise all they did was give HdT more time to mislead the judge about the true situation and support for the development therefore damaging our chances of a fast liquidation and chances of getting anything back  .It was clear months ago that we were not getting our houses or the development we were promised .SARC have been played like a fiddle to HdTs tune . HdT  never gave a toss about purchasers and never will .   MM   AKA JA

What happened was.................tomas got everybody on board...........then tomas set off with all steam towards the fat controller.........................the fat controller uncoupled the carriages..............and tomas went back to the sheds.

Sarc were left on the railway without an engine to go any further........... Or a pit to poss in

The fat controller told his team of administrators to leave it another few months, till all the English people get fed up, run out of money, go bankrupt, have heart attacks, get manic depressive...................

Then the fat controller will go back to the carriages and tell the SARC leaders...............here you are, another load of people wanting critical care...............result..............doh
