Spanish will

Can any one help us out with info about getting a spanish will please.

He lives on Condado. is a very nice man & is willing to expkain everything more than once if you need him too.

We arrived home tue night. David had discussed our will when we were over in January & kindly made an appointment for us to go to the notary last week whilst we were over for the week. He even picked us up & took us to the notary.

Happy to recomend David

He is not at all pushy  which made us vey comfortable about using him

Can anyone tell me approx costs for making spanish will, our solicitors have quoted us but fear they may be on the expensive side?

Our solicitor charged us €300 for doing the will, this included the registration with the notary which is about €68. I think that this is about the average price that most charge, hope this helps

We paid £375 & that included the notary fees too. So not much in it

Incidently neither Ham or I had english wills either ,so David gave us a lot of advice & helped us do those too

one of the companies i do business with will be doing english will writing for £99  single and £150 joint from 2nd april

i am trying to find out if an english will relating to a spanish asset is valid in spain.i have had conflicting reports.can someone confirm one way or another please.

That was confirmed by my Spanish solicitor - any will taken out in Spain is recorded with a Notary thereby being the only legal will to assets in Spain.  If you need to alter anything then it's back to the Notary with more cash!

One other thing to ensure is that any Spanish will does not interfere with any UK will.

Yes , We too were advised , like 1098 about english ? spanish wills being done so that there is no interferance with with either of them
