Internet Connection

I am coming over to SG for the first time this week.  Could anyone tell me if there is any wifi internet connection at SG or is there an internet cafe in Balsicas?

Also, is there any grocery shops yet open at SG or do residents go to Balsicas (where I believe there is a supermarket)?

Advice much appreciated.  I am looking forward to visit to SG very much and hope to meet some of you "local SGers" soon.

Internet cafe on main road in Balsicas, on the right, just after garage. You could also try San Cayetano just down the road free wi-fi at Rose & Crown.

No extra info on internet cafe but on the subject of supermarkets there are 3 in Balsicas and the Upper on the main street has started to stock things like oxos and stuff.  For more English foods and newspapers you can nip to the supermarket in La Torre (Polaris World).  There is a breadman that does the rounds each weekday and he sells barras, croisants and other baked stuff.  He sounds his horn and you just flag him down.

Many thanks to June, Roddy & tracie for those helpful replies.  All this type of info' will save me lots of time when I come over.  The Rose and Crown sounds especially interesting!

HI  Just to up date people its the Rose and Thistle in San Cayetano and yes they do have free wifi if you buy a coffee or something stronger they also have bingo on a monday and a good quiz on a thursday

The bar in San Cayetano is called the Rose & Thistle my mistake, also you could try Pepes Restaurant in Balsicas, as someone mentioned wi-fi access, but not sure wether it is true or not. Perhaps when over in Spain check it out, and post info on site.

Am leaving for SG tomorrow but wanted to say a big thanks for all the helpful replies, especially Rob's kind offer (will let you know if I get stuck). Just shows what a lovely community this is.

Am certainly looking forward to seeing the place and hopefully meeting a few of the SGer locals!
