Hercesa at Dona Julia progress 2009

I have recently been out to have a look at the progress of the Hercesa apartments at Dona Julia and surprised to see that they have taken some shape. I have purchased an apartment in phase 2 and even managed to get into the apartment which was nice! However, the progress of the Hyatt hotel has come to a complete stand still! If anyone would like to comment or ask an questions, I would be happy to answer as best I can. Aberdeen

I have purchased in Block 1, phase 2 at Hercesa Dona Julia.  I would be interested to hear from anyone who has also bought in this development to share knowledge and views.  Are you completing on your property, are you considering walking away etc etc.  Look forward to hearing from you.

 This reply is probably too late as I would imagine quite a few have completed on Phase 2. My advice as a Phase 1 owner is walk away. The whole development has come to a grinding halt and the apartments (and in Spain on the whole) have probably devalued more that the deposits paid if you have not yet completed. Phase 1 is riddled with damp in ground floor and attic apartments. Its almost 2 years since I completed and Hercesa have still not finished the remaining snags which they refuse to do. I suggest that if you do intend to complete that you only do so after they have finished the snags. Make sure you also have the apartments measured before completing as Hercesa are very creative in how they work out the sizes. Sorry to be so negative but I'm talking from experience.
