Hi everyone,
Just returned from C de A and had a great 10 days!! We went to Terra Mitica with our two teenage boys and friends with teenage boys and had a great time. We paid 29E for a two day ticket and stayed overnight in an apartment near the park.
The park itself was very hot as you can imagine, but the rides were well worth it. Fast pass arm bands were available at an extra 12E but to be honest it's the quietest theme park I have ever been to so fast passes weren't absolutely necessary. I expected it to be packed with Brits holidaying in Benidorm, but there were mainly Spanish there. Whether this was due to the credit crunch or not, who knows?
The firework display at the end of the night was good, but they closed the rides at 10 and the display didn't start until 11.20 so there was a bit of hanging about.
We booked into our apartment at 4pm(got our hands stamped at the park). The resort was callled the Sierra Cortina Resort, and although we had booked a2 bed apartment for the night at 140E with breakfast for 4 included, there was a mix up with the booking so we got a 3 bed in the end with fantastic views over Benidorm. I think if we did it again, we would probably find alternate accommodation or do it all in one day as we were kept awake form 2am until 7am by fireworks going off in Benidorm.
Overall it was a great couple of days!!
