Update onTenant

Just to let all of you who have been very supportive of our situation know the latest news.

We just returned from Roda on Wednesday and the tenant who was renting above us has moved out.  We don't know whether his contract was up or if he was moved out by the administrator.  The apartment, is now, however up for rent again so we are hoping that if someone moves in, things will have improved.

My husband conversed with the cleaning company who said the apartment was really filthy.  While we were there the balcony was cleaned down five times.

We enjoyed our very "peaceful and quiet" stay at Roda which was looking well except for the lakes which have become worse.  I feel the problem has never been properly addressed.

So So glad for you and your family Kroda.

Whoever the owner is - Roda is a great resort (even with all the problems that need ironing out which will be - eventually)  Make sure that this time you are far more careful with your prospective tenants or with the letting company that you use.  I'm sure that you will be as you do not want to devalue your property or anyone elses! Good luck to you and best wishes on finding a lovely tenant this time.

Kroda. Maybe we will meet one day if ever we are able to complete. At least you have your apartment. Heaven knows when ours will be ready or if we will be able to afford to complete. We've been hit badly with the exchange rate and the devaluation of U.K. property, relying on the sale of property to achieve an apartment on Roda Golf.  Wouldn't be so bad if we were not paying such a high (now over the odds) price. Still - Onwards and upwards!!

We didn't rent out our apartment, it was the apartment above us.  I have seen first hand how renters can abuse property.  Our apartment cost us too much money to have it destroyed.  This may be an isolated case but it shows how it can all go miserably wrong, maybe not for the owner but certainly for the neighbours.

Re my last post "whoever the owner is".  I meant the owner of the apartment above you - not you.  Sorry - it was a bit ambiguous.

Anyway - I hope he/she takes note and you now enjoy your apartment on Roda with no more ignorant thugs.
