Medical centre near Roda

We need to obtain SIP cards, where is the nearest medical centre to Roda?

Hi Mike

Roda is in the San Javier catchment area and we had to go to the Health Centre in San Javier which is near the Police Station which is very near the large Mercadona just down from the town centre. You have to take a ticket as soon as you go in and wait for your number to be called. You will then have to make an appointment to come back about a week to ten days later where it takes about ten minutes at the most to have it all done and dusted. We had our cards about two weeks later. Hope that this helps.

daft question, but what is an sip card?

It is a medical card which you have to produce if you go to the doctor or hospital in Spain. It is issued on production of your Padron and evidence of paying your social security etc.
