Hi KJ
Just returned from Corvera - what limited building had been started on phase 3 has been suspended for the foreseeable future. Cranes are still there, but not doing anything.
As KRW says, if you are wanting a property on Corvera, you could investigate a transfer on to a completed property on phases 1 and 2.

I know, it's a real pain, and a worry for those of us on the earlier phases having to complete now (or not)!
If ever the opportunity presents itself, though (cheap flights, trip to Spain etc), I can recommend a visit to Corvera to see the development for yourself - in my opinion, it's the only way to focus on what you want, against what's there now/might be there in the future. We flew from the UK to Alicante, and the roads are so much improved since we last visited Corvera in 2005 that we made the drive in about an hour, so more accessible than we thought.
Anyway, good luck with whatever you decide to do!

Hi all - we are also going over at the end of April - we're on phase 4 which will probably not be built for another good few years if at all. We were told our apt would be ready approx end of 2010 so like you we are disappointed, as had visions of sitting on the terrace in the New Year of 2011 with a glass of wine and looking out over the golf course....
Its been 18 months since we were last over and we're looking forward to seeing the place now, having a discussion with the folk in the Corvera office and then make a decision on what to do next. I empathise with everyone who was looking forward to their 'dream' and has maybe had to settle for something different to what they expected though I understand others are very happy with the alternatives that have been offered.
Trying to stay positive in the meantime !

Hi Chrismedin
I am glad to see you positive as your phase 4 is worst than my phase 3, the question I would ask of any out there, if you are looking at a alternative option then is there a deal to be had !. or better still can some of us come together to get a deal as I would think they are desperate to get shot of properties that are built but have been defaulted.
Always open to other ideas have any of you got any suggestions that would be helpful, I personaly do feel let down as this was to be my pension back up and although I do not blame Corvera for all that has happened in this unstable times they have still not been able to come through with the plan and so not making Corvera the hot spot to go as it could or should be, that surley means they are able to be very flexiable with options and prices.
The alternative is to wait for !!!! and hope somethings happens to our phase and presume this place will not fold or get sold off to another prospector which could open another can of worms, don't mean to be negative but I don't like sitting on my hands in hope.
