Hi,

We're out for a mid-term from 12th Feb.

Does anyone want any pics taking of their apartments or the general area?

We've certainly appreciated all the previous photos people have logged on this site and would like to return the favour.

we are sitting waiting for our completion letter but if it came tomorrow we would not be able to go out until March, so any pictures of 46 North Side Phase 2 and the Pool area would be appreciated,

Hello there Diane and Stan at 46. We were sent a letter about  two weeks 'ago telling us the apartment is ready. I rang Iberian to tell them we couldn't make it out there till the easter holidays', April 2nd to be precise. Ray Bance said he would take it up with the developer but didn't think it would be a problem and would get back to me the following week. I'm still waiting for him to reply. What he did inform me of was it will be fiesta time that  week and some places might be closed. Just hope that the relevant places will be open for completion and furniture buying. Hi there Carol and Michael, we have just received our letter today saying no 46 is ready, just one year and 2 days after we first signed for it,  we have not spoken to Iberian yet but we will be looking to go out there the beginning of March to complete, hopefully the weather will have picked up a little by then. Cannot believe it is finally happening!

Well done Diane and Stan. It really is happening for you and us all. Funny though after all the waiting and planning it doesn't feel as exciting as it was when we first put pen to paper. Maybe it's all the hard work to come which is a bit daunting with all the jobs' that Carol has planned for me. We've actually planned and booked to come again in August for  three weeks' plus, driving down and taking the ferry from Portsmouth to Bilbao. Enjoy the trip in March and give us a run down of the itinery and schedule. Best of luck. Carol and Michael.

Hi all,

Just back from mid-term, sorry we weren't able to get the internal shots for other people as requested, but Iberian had us on a short leash!!

The internal shots are from our upstair apartment but should give you an idea. The inside is almost complete except for the socket fronts and fuse box and obviously fitting of kitchen white goods.

They dug out the garden wall footings on Monday and were clearing the pool area while we were there, ready (at last) to start digging it out. The crane went last week, and the external walls have started to be coated, from no's 25-28 first then working round from right to left of the block. They've fitted the uprights for the railings too. The steps were being tiled from about the middle to the left of the block with the others complete already.

The third batch of pics are 1)no's 21-24, 2)no's 21-22, 3)no's 19-20, 4)no's 13-14, 5&6) not sure if we got 45/46 as nothing numbered on phase 2 sorry!

The little bus between Hurchillo and Orihuela didn't appear to be running while we were there, but taxi's about 7 euros each way or 45mins to stroll it slowly.

Hello all. Thanks Carol and Neil for the photos' of Nos. 45,46,47,48. You were spot on without the numbers'. I noticed No. 47 is up for sale. Did you catch the price by any chance or the agent's name? We heard from someone that there was a water park 5 minutes' from the village, has anyone heard any information on this? Thanks again. Think the water park you could be referring to is La Pedrera.  This situated behind Bigastro up in the mountain.

Its not a water park, but there is  is a large pool, somewhere to get snacks, drinks etc. Small charge per day.

Outside there is a large picnic area with BBQ's and plenty of tables and chairs with wooden gazebos.  They views are lovely.

You will see the sign as you turn off the roundabout on to the road for Hurchillo (at the garage) and you turn left into Bigastro and follow the signs.  It is a bit difficult to find.

Probably better to ask someone who has been before for directions, map.

Thanks very much for the piccies have they  painted the inside ot the apartments and fit the kitchens and white goods, and i gather they are starting the exterior walls . still no joy as to the size of the pool

Hi ,

Yes the insides are painted and finished except for socket fronts and fuse box.

White goods will be fitted when you've chosen them from Arca or wherever you end up.

The internal shots on Feb 13th photos should give you a good idea of where yours is at the moment seeing as it is beneath ours and at the same stage.

We are off to Hurchillo tomorrow we will take as many photos as we can of as many properties and find out as much as poss re completion, pool etc and post next weekend when we get back
