Changing stairs

We have just bought a resale top floor apartment in roda .We do not like the current sprial stairs and have been told we can change them for traditional stairs.

We have been make aware of 2 options so far ,

a British company  Baxterspain@ approx 8000€

Anybody know anybody else.

 Thanks for the information.  We too would like to change ours have looked at baxters but not anybody else.  Their work seems good quality but I do think it is very expensive for the amount of work involved.  Would love to see work done by other company to compare.  So eagerly awaiting replies.  €8,000 seems very excessive

I had my staircase replaced by the spanih company and was very impressed with Diego the owner of the company who speaks very good English.The workmanship was first class,the materials used were of the highest quality and they evan had the apartment professionally cleaned when the job was completed.

I would reccomend him to anyone.

 Linda and I were the first ones to have their spiral stairs changed to a traditional, safe, practical staircase by Baxter’s and I would like to say apart from a thoroughly excellent job that looks brilliant, they also take care of all the legal aspects, like submission of plans to the town hall and obtaining the official documents that are needed to be kept with your escatura, which of course is a legal requirement for the selling your apartment. Also dealing with Paul was very easy, with constant updates and photos, and he has a totally professional approach.

To anyone thinking of changing their spiral staircase, I would say don't hesitate, it has made such a difference. Not only has it made it easier to to reach solarium, it has made the balcony off of the lounge more spacious, and lets more light into the lounge.A big thank you to Paul and his colleagues of Baxters Spain for a brilliant job from start to finish, including all the paperwork, much appreciated.
